Bug has been begging to have a "real sword" (yeah right kid- you are only 9!) So Ben told Bug and Doodle he would make them some swords out of wood. So this weekend, Ben spent some time in the shed making swords. They turned out really cool.

Boys love their swords and what not! My 8 yo bought himself a junior archery set with his birthday money this year (and is he ever good at it!) and when he found a piece of scrap wood he thought looked like rifle, he taped his binoculars to it for a scope and painted it chammo. Now he goes hunting for T-rex. I'd love to have a son who takes up hunting, I love venison, but I don't think we have the freezer space for a T-rex ;o) though I suppose I could can it, we'd be set for life!! LOL I'll have to show him these pics, he will want to make one too!
