Here's the chicks now- why are some black, some white and some yellow!? The variety we have- we THOUGHT that the roosters were black with a white spot on their head, and the hens were all black. At least when we got these chickens that's what they were. But for some reason we have some chicks that are white and yellow?! Wierd!

WEIRD!! We own a variety of chickens, so figured it was normal to end up with a variety of chicks!! Maybe they will change, later?? Maybe you had a wild hen, who found another man!!! HEE HEE!!
We are starting ours next week, after a vacation, the kids can't wait!!
Maybe they are the "Mailman's" chickens. My older brother and sister are blonde and my brother just older than me and myself are really dark. We call the blondes the mailman's kids. hehe :)
